About the Company

Our client is a well-established international shipmanagement company providing technical and marine management services to aglobal fleet. They are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to support their growing LNG fleet by ensuring compliance with international safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Company's Safety Management System (SMS), including preparing manuals, procedures, and fleet notices.
• Coordinate internal and external audits for vessels and the office to ensure compliance with international maritime and ISO standards.
• Assist in preparing vessels for customer inspections and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyse HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) performance indicators and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual HSEQ review meetings, including preparing meeting materials and taking minutes.
• Liaise with vessel crews, regional offices, classification societies, auditors, and external stakeholders on quality and compliance matters.
• Provide administrative and documentation support for HSEQ projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience in HSE, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Ship Management, or a related maritime environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI), AI tools, or Microsoft Access will be an advantage.
• Strong documentation, report writing, and communication skills.
• Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• A proactive team player with strong coordination skills.
