Our client, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading organizations is looking for:
IT Project Manager (Java , Middleware)

Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex, technically intensive ICT projects on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering system migration, platform upgrades, and cloud adoption workstreams, ensuring alignment with business and architectural objectives.
• Define and monitor project KPIs, including migration milestones, regression benchmarks, and cloud cost metrics, providing regular performance reports to senior management.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks, particularly those arising from version compatibility, integration dependencies, and cloud environment transitions.
• Oversee multiple vendor relationships, including middleware vendors, cloud service providers, and external ICT service providers.
• Drive seamless business operations across departments through effective IT service delivery
• Ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements for both projects and incidents
• Evaluate and assess change requests for system enhancements and improvements
• Monitor and optimise operational performance through data-driven metrics
• Manage daily IT operations, swiftly resolving application, infrastructure, and security issues

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer/Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent.
• Project Management Certification or equivalent
• Proven track record managing at least 2 full-cycle ICT projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies, with at least one involving a major platform migration or system upgrade
• Hands-on project management experience in Java application upgrades, including dependency management, regression testing coordination, and version compatibility assessment
• Experience managing middleware upgrade projects, with understanding of integration patterns, message brokering, API dependencies, and service continuity during transitions
• Demonstrated experience delivering or overseeing cloud projects such as cloud governance compliance, operational 
• Experience managing projects involving business rules management systems or decision automation platforms, with an understanding of rule lifecycle management, versioning, and regression validation
• Strong background in enterprise Java (J2EE)
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise IT governance and security frameworks
• Experience troubleshooting complex application, infrastructure, and security challenges, particularly in government settings
