Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for end-user computing devices including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, AV equipment, and peripherals.
  • Support Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Manage and support incidents, service requests, changes, and configuration activities in an ITIL-driven environment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Support network and infrastructure components including servers, storage, switches, routers, and patching activities under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Provide onsite and remote support to internal users in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in infrastructure and end-user related project implementations.
  • Supervise junior engineers and serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues when required.
  • Identify recurring issues, operational risks, and improvement opportunities, and escalate accordingly.
  • Maintain proper documentation and follow company IT policies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or related field.
  • 5 years (over more) of relevant IT support or infrastructure support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiar with ITIL processes including incident, change, and configuration management.
  • Good understanding of infrastructure technologies such as servers, storage, switches, and routers.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team-oriented multinational environment.
  • Comfortable complying with workplace security requirements, including depositing mobile phones in designated lockers during working hours.
