Position: Junior Officer, Finance (Fixed Assets)

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Officer to support the Fixed Assets function within the Finance team for one of our clients. This role is ideal for an individual who is organized, meticulous, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while supporting day-to-day fixed asset operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate asset transfer requests in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with internal policies, and manage intercompany asset transfers, including the creation of new asset records for receiving entities.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly fixed asset transfer reports, and monitor and update key performance indicators (KPIs) related to asset transfer activities.
  • Support employee exit clearance by ensuring all assigned fixed assets are properly accounted for during the offboarding process.
  • Assist with fixed asset tagging activities as required to support operational needs and maintain accurate asset records.
  • Retrieve supporting documents for audit requests and coordinate with asset custodians to facilitate asset verification and sighting exercises.
  • Coordinate and support fixed asset disposal requests submitted by asset custodians in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring timely processing and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Perform other finance, fixed asset, and administrative duties as assigned to support the Finance team.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Higher NITEC or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or fixed asset administration.
  • Good analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Meticulous, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks while delivering quality work within tight deadlines.
