We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of accounts within the IT logistics sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, driving account growth, and ensuring commercial success across assigned accounts.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, inherit an established portfolio of active accounts, and develop towards a future leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned customer accounts and serve as the primary commercial contact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee account pricing, contract management, service scope, and issue resolution.
  • Onboard new customers and ensure smooth account transitions and implementation.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through service expansion and new business opportunities.
  • Monitor account profitability, pricing, billing matters, and receivables.
  • Work closely with Operations and Sales Operations teams to ensure successful service delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and account reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to business growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of account management experience within freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
  • Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Good commercial awareness with experience in pricing, margins, contracts, and negotiations.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales forecasting.
  • Experience in IT logistics, Importer/Exporter of Record (IOR/EOR), or related value-added logistics services will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
