Position Summary
The Member of Technical Staff (MTS), QA is responsible for managing customer quality issues and field claims, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Candidates with experience in semiconductor manufacturing are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the review of customer documents and translate customer-specific requirements into internal quality processes and systems.
- Build strong customer relationships to enhance engagement and satisfaction
- Lead customer issue resolution activities following the claims management process, including root cause analysis, containment, corrective actions, and improvements to factory processes and quality controls to prevent recurrence.
- Provide timely engineering insights, including technical failure analysis reports and customer presentations.
- Analyze data and drive validation to mitigate identified risks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to uphold product quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a core member in new product and process introductions, ensuring timely qualification for successful and safe launches.
- Support customer visits, audits, change management activities, FMEA reviews, and control plan evaluations.
- Identify trends, improvement opportunities, and actions needed to meet or exceed goals outlined in Customer Quality Scorecards.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor production, including at least 3 years in customer-facing roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, 8D methodology, change management, and statistical tools such as JMP or Minitab.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor reliability standards and analysis methodologies
- Good knowledge of first article inspection processes and expectations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure processes, identify patterns and trends, and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills across all organizational levels and with customers.
- Demonstrated commitment to high quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, with experience in product, process, and system audits.
- ISO/IATF auditor certification is an added advantage.
