Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting best practices in patient care and infection prevention

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of nursing personnel to maintain strong clinical standards

  • Work with doctors, allied health professionals, and department teams to implement evidence-based clinical practices

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, patient safety requirements, and quality care practices

  • Monitor clinical indicators and patient outcomes to identify improvement opportunities

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety and care delivery

  • Develop and deliver training, orientation, and continuing education programmes for nursing staff

  • Provide mentorship and supervision to support professional development within the nursing team

  • Monitor infection control data, conduct surveillance, and support outbreak management when required

  • Develop infection prevention protocols and ensure compliance with infection control procedures

  • Support committee activities, audits, and regulatory processes related to infection control

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with relevant certification in Infection Control preferred

  • Registered Nurse with valid registration with Singapore Nursing Board

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience with exposure to infection control practices

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
