Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Platform Engineer (OpenShift / Kubernetes)  to join their dynamic team:

  • Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract
  • Position: Platform Engineer
  • Location: Northeast (Nearest MRT: Punggol Coast)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
  • Salary Package: Up to $8,600 + Bonus + Medical Benefits

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) platform, a core component of Singapore’s Government Technology Stacks.
  • Develop and maintain platform automations, processes, toolchains, and best practices to support secure and agile cloud adoption across government agencies.
  • Design, engineer, and automate the full lifecycle of OpenShift clusters, treating infrastructure as code.
  • Build robust automation for cluster provisioning, upgrades, and scaling using Ansible, Terraform, or Python.
  • Implement and manage OpenShift components, including OVN-Kubernetes networking and OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) storage.
  • Optimize platform reliability and performance to ensure high availability of the container environment.
  • Implement GitOps workflows for effective cluster configuration management.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong command of Red Hat OpenShift and deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals.
  • Highly proficient in automation and scripting using Bash or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC frameworks such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Practical knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN, OVN) and storage solutions (Ceph/ODF) within containerized environments.
  • Well-versed in GitOps methodologies and associated toolsets.
