Job Description

Our client is an established international company in the mattress and home furnishing industry with a strong focus on innovation, product quality, and market growth.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Product Manager to oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept development and material selection to product launch and post-market performance.

This role may also be suitable for candidates with experience or interest in positions such as Product Development Manager, Product Executive, Product Designer, or Category Manager (Home Furnishing / Bedding).

Candidates with experience in mattress, bedding, furniture, consumer products, or home furnishing industries are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

• Lead product development from concept creation to commercial launch
• Define product specifications including materials, construction, design, durability, and quality standards
• Maintain product roadmaps and timelines for new launches and seasonal collections

Market Research & Product Strategy

• Conduct market research on sleep trends, customer preferences, and competitor products
• Translate market insights and customer feedback into actionable product improvements
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for enhancement

Supplier & Production Coordination

• Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and production timelines
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support successful product execution

Commercial & Go-To-Market Support

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on product positioning and go-to-market strategies
• Support product launches and promotional initiatives

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Product Design, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in product management, product development, or product design
• Experience in mattress, bedding, furniture, or home furnishing industry will be advantageous
• Strong understanding of product development processes, materials, and customer-driven design
• Good project management and cross-functional coordination skills
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and quality
• Familiarity with CAD, prototyping tools, material testing, or specification software is advantageous
• Ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and regional partners will be advantageous due to business and operational requirements
• Ability to communicate in Malay will be advantageous due to regional coordination requirements

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: $5,500 – $6,500 per month (commensurate with experience)
• Variable bonus
• Annual Leave: 18 – 24 days

Working Hours

• 5-day work week
• 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Alternative option: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
