Job Description & Requirements
The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for driving business development, focused on developing new customers, improving our product sales and enhancing customer engagement within the assigned region. The key sectors include but not limited to Precision Engineering, Semi-Conductor, Oil and Gas, Electronics and Aerospace. The role requires diligent prospecting effort, customer relationships, timely response to enquiries, and alignment with corporate quality and compliance standards. This position works closely with the business units as well as QA and Operation teams to ensure market penetration and customer satisfaction.
Job Description:
• Support the Business Units in market development initiatives in the Asian (including South Asia and MENA) region. Requires extensive travelling (approximately 80% in the initial period).
• Identify, forecast, and pursue sales opportunities. Grow the Company's business in the assigned area through prospecting new customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen the relationship with customers and provide updated market intelligence to management.
• Maintain and strengthen customer relationships through regular engagement and professional communication.
• Monitor market conditions, economic trends, and competitive threats affecting the company's product range.
• Respond promptly to customer enquires, orders, feedback, and complaints, ensuring all requirements are reviewed, documented, and acted upon.
• Monitor and follow up on quotations issued to customers to ensure timely closure.
• Manage product sales activities and support market development strategies for the assigned clusters and areas.
• Participate in relevant training programs as required by the company.
• Maintain accurate records of correspondence, including nonconformances related to processes and the quality system.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.
• Maintain good housekeeping to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, andAS9100 standards and procedures.
Requirement :
• Diploma or Degree in any Engineering or Sciences discipline . Formal training in metallurgy science will be an added advantage
•10 years of relevant experience in Engineering industries is a must
• Strong product knowledge and in-depth understanding of industry and market trends.
• Mature, independent, self-driven with a strong customer-oriented mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to lead and motivate a team.
• A strong personality with the ability to manage diverse customer and operational demands.
• Coordinate third-party material inspections when required.
• Assist in customer quality audits and collaborate with QA/Technical teams to address quality-related matters.
• Recommend quality improvement solutions to management or immediate superiors.
