Roles & Responsibilities

  • Research Grant Development: Support stakeholders in identifying funding opportunities, strengthening grant pipelines, and improving grant application outcomes.

  • Proposal Advisory & Grant Management: Guide stakeholders through pre-award and post-award processes, including proposal reviews, budgeting, compliance, and submission requirements.

  • Research Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to support interdisciplinary initiatives and collaborative funding opportunities.

  • Capability Building & Funding Awareness: Organise workshops, engagement sessions, and training initiatives to enhance grant writing capabilities and awareness of funding schemes.

  • Research Strategy & Operational Support: Maintain awareness of funding trends, policy developments, and strategic priorities while supporting research development initiatives across the organisation.

Key Requirements

  • Degree from a recognised university; postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.

  • At least 8–10 years of relevant experience in research development, grants management, or related functions within research-intensive environments.

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience reviewing and strengthening research proposals.

  • Good understanding of grant application processes, budgeting, and compliance requirements.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
