We are partnering with a growing specialty chemicals producer/trader seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Sales Executive / Assistant Sales Manager to support business expansion across Asia.

This role focuses on sales and trading activities for chlor-alkali and downstream chemical products, including liquid caustic soda, chlorine derivatives, and Epichlorohydrin (ECH), which are widely used in epoxy resins, coatings, adhesives, and industrial applications.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy regional business development, customer engagement, and growing chemical markets within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and develop sales activities for liquid caustic soda, chlorine-based derivatives, and ECH products
• Manage and grow customer relationships across Asia markets
• Support trading activities for spot and contract business
• Identify new business opportunities within industrial manufacturing and specialty chemical sectors
• Build relationships with customers within:Alumina / aluminium refining industryBiodiesel and glycerol producersEpoxy resin and downstream chemical manufacturers
• Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and supply-demand developments
• Support commercial negotiations, quotations, and contract discussions
• Coordinate closely with supply chain and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery execution

Key Products / Value Chain Exposure

• Liquid Caustic Soda (NaOH)
• Chlorine (Cl₂) and chlor-alkali derivatives
• Crude glycerol (biodiesel by-product)
• Epichlorohydrin (ECH)
• Epoxy resin and coatings industry

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related discipline
• Around 4–5 years of experience in chemical sales, trading, or business development
• Exposure to industrial chemicals, chlor-alkali, caustic soda, solvents, or specialty chemicals will be advantageous
• Candidates with exposure to ECH, epoxy resins, coatings, or downstream chemical industries are welcome to apply
• Good communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Regional Asia market exposure will be an added advantage
• Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a growing business environment
