[What the role is]

The School of Infocomm is looking for dynamic individuals with a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

You will be involved in supporting our full-time and part-time course offerings in areas related to Financial Technology (FinTech), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics, Digital Payments, Financial Systems, Automation, Blockchain Technologies, and other foundational ICT modules.

[What you will be working on]

  • Implement and administer module delivery and related activities (including student assessments and assignments) to achieve learning outcomes.
  • Plan, design and develop curriculum, learning activities and teaching materials.
  • Stay current and responsive to developments in AI, FinTech, and the broader technology and education landscape through active engagement with industry and professional communities.
  • Maintain strong industry links to ensure curriculum relevance and foster collaborations with industry partners.
  • Contribute to applied research, consultancy, innovation projects, and industry partnerships in areas related to AI, FinTech, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
  • Support student learning, career development, internships, industry projects, and other experiential learning opportunities.

[What we are looking for]

Applicants should possess relevant qualifications, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Financial Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related disciplines, with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience.

Applicants should be proficient in one or more of the following areas:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, or Intelligent Automation.
  • Digital Payments, Financial Systems, Open Banking, Embedded Finance, RegTech, Financial Crime Technologies, or related FinTech domains.
  • Programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, Spring, JavaScript, Node.js, or related technologies.
  • Blockchain technologies, including distributed ledger concepts, smart contracts, decentralised applications, and relevant blockchain platforms, alongside modern software development practices such as APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, and application development.
  • Implementation experience in the FinTech, AI, data analytics, digital transformation, or software development industries.
