ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Description
- Provide advanced (L2/L3) operational support for Azurecloud infrastructure and related services.
- Act as an escalation point for complex incidents,performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
- Monitor and maintain production environments usingenterprise monitoring and alerting tools.
- Respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, andalerts within defined SLAs, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Azure services, includingVirtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups,Load Balancers, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
- Lead and manage patching activities for Windows and Linuxenvironments, ensuring compliance and minimal disruption.
- Perform and oversee routine operational tasks such assystem health checks, service restarts, backup validation, and configurationaudits.
- Support and implement change, release, and maintenanceactivities following ITIL best practices.
- Maintain high-quality documentation, including runbooks,SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Ensure adherence to incident, problem, change, and requestmanagement processes.
- Support security, audit, and compliance initiatives,including vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, andservice management stakeholders to ensure service excellence.
- Identify opportunities for automation and processimprovement using tools such as Terraform and Azure DevOps.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of overall IT experience, with strong hands-onexpertise in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, networkingprinciples, and security best practices.
- Extensive experience in Windows and Linux systemadministration.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform,infrastructure as code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service(AKS), Docker, and Helm.
- Proven experience in managing enterprise-scale patchingand maintenance activities.
- Expertise in troubleshooting complex infrastructure andapplication issues in cloud environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-makingskills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder managementabilities.
Additional Information
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator,Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent).
- Experience working in a 24/7 enterprise production supportenvironment.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service managementtools.
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g.,PowerShell, Bash, Python).
