We are looking for a proactive Senior Project Engineer for one of our clients, a well-established and reputable leader in the industrial and engineering services sector. This person will lead the planning and execution of power generation projects. You will be the central point of contact between sales teams, customers, and distributors, ensuring that technical submittals, feasibility studies, and project milestones are handled with precision. This role involves end-to-end project oversight from order confirmation to on-site testing and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring all key milestones and delivery schedules are met.

• Planning & Monitoring: Generate master project schedules and track cross-functional responsibilities to ensure the project remains on course.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal production teams and external consultants/contractors to implement project works and attend site meetings.

• Testing & Commissioning: Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers and coordinate on-site testing for a smooth transition to the aftermarket service team.

• Technical Support: Provide first-level technical advice during execution and assist in feasibility studies and cost estimations for new variations.

• Documentation: Manage all project submittals, M&E drawings, and 3rd party product documentation for client endorsement.

• Site Management: Supervise site installation works and manage sub-contractors to ensure completion within stipulated timelines.

• Reporting: Provide monthly status reports highlighting project health, key risks, and delivery concerns.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2–3 years of relevant experience; OR a Diploma with 5–7 years of experience.

• Must be able to read and interpret M&E drawings.

• Familiarity with generators, controls, and associated power equipment is a significant advantage.

• Knowledge of generator standards and industry codes is highly preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with main contractors, consultants, and internal global teams.
