As the public healthcare supply chain agency, we design and execute a national level end-to-end supply chain blueprint in partnership with 27 Public Healthcare Institutions (PHIs) in Singapore.

About The Role

As the Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Supply Chain (Inventory Planning) in ALPS, you will be based in Singapore General Hospital (SGH), you will be responsible for the logistics support and inventory control within the PHI. Working in a team you will receive and distribute inventory items and ensure inventory accountability and accuracy in the system. You will also communicate closely with hospital users to support in the hospital’s daily operations for patients’ care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist main store logistic manager in supervising pharmaceutical products distributions and daily operations. Monitor,review and improve the KPIs for the team.
  • In charge of 3PL vendor management. The portfolio includes liaison officer between hospital users and vendor, overseeing end to end service provided by the vendor, i.e. warehousing, inventory management, reports, audits, feedback.
  • Actively involved in various IT projects (S/4 Hana, WMS ), collaboration with internal users and external vendors.
  • Managing IT vendors (Gurusoft and Daifuku) for system support, maintenance and improvement initiatives.
  • Support WMS related matters for ALPS team and Pharmacy users. He/ she will also work closely with SGH/ ALPS Pharma team on system support and provide training as required.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Eproc catalogue, removal and addtion of items based on monthly pharmacy formulary memo sent out by pharmacist.
  • Provide regular updates to site lead and Pharma lead.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties/projects

Requirements

  • Degree, preferably in business related discipline
  • Work experience in healthcare IT system environment will be an advantage
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS office and Excel
  • Well verse in IT systems - SAP, WMS and ASRS
  • Positive working attitude, willingness to learn and thrives in a team environment
