Job description

Our client is from Oil and Gas industry. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the next phase of their business. They are located in West.

Duties:

• Responsible in guiding the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, commissioning and substitute of mechanical or piping equipment within the Gas Engine Generators as well as its additional systems such as gas engine, pipeline, pressure pipe, ACMVs, lube oil and coolant pumps arrangement.
• Responsible in supporting mechanical support and solutions for the process & care and providing the development of care strategy including procedure/specification focusing on equipment dependability, spares inventory necessity, shutdown and inspection lists, preventive and prophetic care programmed.
• Responsible in managing and work meticulously with internal contractor and equipment seller to perform maintenance work at the Gas Engine Generators Building and terminal.
• Responsible to make certain compliance to appropriate regulations, manipulate safely, fit for object, maintainable and trustworthy for the site’s modified or anew build mechanical setup (such as gas engine, pumps, gravity vessel, safety facilities, etc).
• Responsible in guiding technical negotiations, execute and succeed project schedules or cost as well as collaboration with outward and internal shareholders, merchants for end of life and development project using company Management of Change process for machinery facilities.
• Responsible in supplying technical practicing as required in the area of process, maintenance, fault resolution of the Gas Engine Generators.
• Responsible in contacting with exterior investor including administration agencies on approbation and risk of closure of electrical arrangement that will influence gas-send out.

Requirements

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field.
• Min 5 to 8 years’ experience in relevant industry for maintenance of rotary and static equipment is needed
• Well versed in API standards and Engineering Calculation
