SENIOR SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for enterprise and mission-critical applications.
  • Perform functional, system integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support CI/CD testing activities, defect tracking, test reporting, and release validation using industry-standard testing tools.
  • Participate in requirement reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Maintain testing documentation, test evidence, and compliance with project quality and security standards.

Skills & Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in software testing, QA, or automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Postman, LoadRunner, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of API testing, automation frameworks, SQL, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
