Job description

• Position : Service Technician

• Location : Pioneer Road North

• Working hours : Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6:00pm

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3000 + AWS + 14 Days Annual Leave

• Duration : Permanent

• Industry : Engineering/Industrial Machinery
  

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, repair and maintain company products and components at customer sites

• Provide efficient technical support and maintain service quality standards

• Liaise with customers and internal teams regarding technical and service matters

• Maintain proper documentation including service reports and service records

• Support sales team in securing service orders

• Identify service and sales opportunities within the installed base

• Provide product training to customers when required

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent relevant technical qualification/experience.

• Relevant experience in electrical or mechanical repair will be an advantage

• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Able to travel to customer sites for installation, servicing and repair work. A valid Class 3 driving licence is required where the role involves driving a company/service vehicle
