Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Storekeeper will be responsible for maintaining inventory, ensuring cleanliness, and organizing items in an orderly manner. This position must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail. This position also play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of our stock, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
  • Receive, unload, and shelve supplies.
  • Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record-keeping.
  • Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
  • Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.
  • Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Comply with all regulations and oversee warehousing and storage requirements.
  • Foster cooperation and understanding among personnel, and provide guidance and leadership to store staff.


Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or cold room environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and record-keeping.
  • Experience in managing inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials or products.
  • Proficient in maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and the ability to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software (optional but beneficial).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a cooperative and positive attitude.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed, based on business requirements.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies or stock management.

Working Hours:
5.5 day work week (2 shifts, inclusive of 2 breaks for full day work)
AM shift: Monday to Friday - 6am to 3.30pm, Saturday - 6am to 10.30am, Sunday - Rest day
PM shift: Monday to Friday - 11.30am to 9.30pm, Sunday - 3pm to 7pm, Saturday - Rest day
