We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Project Coordinator cum UAT tester to assist the Business Project Manager in the delivery of banking and operations-related projects. The role focuses on supporting requirement gathering, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and assisting day-to-day project activities.

Job Title: UAT Tester – Banking Operations

Location: CBD area, Singapore

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Project Coordinator cum UAT tester to assist the Business Project Manager in the delivery of banking and operations-related projects. The role focuses on supporting requirement gathering, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and assisting day-to-day project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help facilitate discussions with business and operations users to understand process and system needs.
  • Maintain project documentation, trackers, and status updates as required.
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and scripts.
  • Facilitate UAT activities (e.g., testing, reporting, reconciliation).
  • Execute test cases, document results, and escalate issues for resolution.
  • Act as a key escalation point for system issues; perform second-level investigations and provide actionable insights.
  • Work closely with the tech team and external vendors to drive resolution of defects and ensure timely fixes
  • Document standard operating procedures and maintain knowledge base.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Exposure to securities back-office processes or banking operations will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
  • Knowledge of Python, VBA, or Excel Macros is a plus but not mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in securities operations, banking, or financial services
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Familiarity with UAT processes and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a broader project team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a project-driven environment
