SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Supply Chain Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day Distribution and Logistics operations, ensuring accurate and timely execution of supply chain activities in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

The Supply Chain Associate contributes to meeting customer requirements, maintaining on-time delivery, upholding quality and efficiency standards, and promoting safe working practices within a cGMP-regulated environment.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receipt

• Perform inspection and receipt of incoming materials in accordance with site SOPs.

• Ensure timely transfer of materials to designated storage areas based on specific storage requirements (e.g., ambient, refrigerated, frozen).

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper system transactions are completed.

Pick and Pack

• Execute pick and pack operations according to the issued pick list and required packing configuration.

• Verify physical items against system records to ensure accuracy.

• Prepare and release shipments to courier companies in compliance with applicable procedures.

Returns

• Receive and inspect returned materials in alignment with the return documentation (e.g., packing list).

• Process returns transactions in the system following site SOPs.

• Store returned items appropriately while awaiting client instructions.

Rejects

• Reclassify storage items to "Reject" status based on client instructions.

• Ensure proper handling and segregation of rejected materials in line with site SOPs.

• Maintain clear identification and traceability of rejected items pending further direction.

Destruction

• Consolidate rejected and returned items designated for destruction.

• Verify documentation for waste release and coordinate with an approved waste disposal vendor.

• Arrange destruction activities upon receiving formal client instruction and in accordance with site SOPs.

• Submit declarations via the NEA (National Environment Agency) portal and ensure destruction certificates are issued and filed.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• To perform housekeeping activities as assigned by Supply Chain Manager / Warehouse Supervisor

• To perform inventory cycle count in accordance with SOPs.

To work in accordance with site SOPs and policies at all times.

To complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

When the needs arise and when requested by the Management, to perform other tasks or duties assigned by the Supply Chain Manager / Warehouse Supervisor. If applicable, training will be provided to support this multi-skilled flexibility.
