Vet Central is an animal clinic with a particular focus on small mammals such as rabbits and guinea pigs, alongside dogs and cats. Since 2015, we've practised evidence-based, outcome-focused medicine. Over the years we've built a strong reputation among pet owners for quality care and thoughtful service. Our clinic is well-equipped, with a stand-alone dental suite and Conebeam CT for advanced imaging, electrocautery with vessel sealing, ultrasound, multi-parameter monitoring (including ETCO2), and a laser therapy machine.
We're privately owned by full-time practising vets which means the people who run the clinic are the same people working in it day to day. We take our medicine seriously, but we're also a friendly, close-knit team that values collaboration and looks out for one another.
A few things that make working here different. Full-timers work a 4-day week with only one weekend day a week. We are closed on public holidays, and we have short evening hours so there's still time to make it home for dinner. We think good work and a good life outside of work go hand in hand. We also take continuing education seriously. We cover the cost of CE and give our staff study leave. New team members start with a proper induction, with senior nurses and vets on hand as mentors, and we'll put together a growth plan suited to where you want to go.
As a receptionist, you'll be the first person clients and their pets meet, managing appointments and keeping the clinic running smoothly.
What we offer:
● Competitive pay with annual performance bonus and profit sharing
● Medical and dental benefits
● Paid Continuing Education
● Study leave
We're happy to hear from people at any stage of their career. If you think you'll enjoy working in a clinic, like working with people, and want to be part of a growing team, we'd love to hear from you. Send your resume to christine.ng@vetcentral.com.sg.
