Position: Workplace Safety and Health Officer
Salary: $3800 – $5800
Working Hours: 5.5 Days Week, 8:00am – 6:00pm
Location: Islandwide

Responsibilities:

• Assist WSH Manager to ensure work site compliance with EHS regulations and statutory requirements.
• Assist WSH Manager in incident investigation and recommend corrective action to prevent recurrence.
• Responsible for advising and assisting the project team on applicable EHS matters.
• Implementation of Project EHS requirements.
• Enforces all EHS requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations.
• Conduct regular site checks and takes appropriate corrective actions.
• Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out safety inspection.
• Ensures all personnel are briefed and aware of the associated hazards & risks in the project.
• Perform duties in accordance to the roles and responsibility as stated in the Workplace Safety, Health, and Environment Management System.
• Liaise with authority on all EHS issues.
• Liaise with appointed auditors on the QOSHE Management System.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or equivalent
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Building Construction industry
• Must be a MOM Registered WSHO
• Registered Environmental Control Officer will be an added advantage
