Accountant (F&B) Work from Home

Responsibilities

• Review data entries performed by Account Assistant and accountant to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with team members to verify daily invoices and documents are processed correctly and on time
• Maintain organized and current filing systems for all accounting documents
• Reconcile Statements of Account (SOA) against invoices entered into Xero accounting system
• Review and process payments to suppliers based on verified statement of account
• Review payroll calculations including overtime and incentive payments for accuracy
• Oversee work permit applications and ensure timely filing of IR21 and IR8A tax forms
• Finalised monthly management account on time
• Prepare tax computations and submit income tax filings in compliance with regulations
• Compile and submit XBRL filings and prepare unaudited financial statements
• Utilize Xero accounting software to manage financial records and transactions
• Use Microsoft Office Excel and Word to support accounting and reporting tasks
• Any ac-hoc duties as assigned

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum of 6 years of accounting and tax experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with Xero accounting system
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
