Our esteemed client in the M&E Engineering industry is seeking an Accounts Executive to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Accounts Executive
• Location: Northeast (Nearest MRT: Punggol Coast)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
• Salary Package: Basic + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, journal entries, and schedules to support month-end and year-end closing.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, staff claims, and customer billings accurately and on time.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all accounting transactions are properly documented.
• Perform GST preparation and support tax-related submissions where required.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities.
• Reconcile bank statements, intercompany balances, and other financial records.
• Maintain and update accounting records using Xero Accounting Software.
• Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Provide administrative and finance support as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience using Xero Accounting Software is required.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and basic tax regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior experience in the construction, engineering, consultancy, or M&E industry will be an advantage.
