Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Industrial Automation & Factory Automation Solutions
• Position Title: Assistant Application Engineer
• Working Location: Kallang
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:15am to 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Handle technical enquiries from customers and sales teams regarding product specifications, applications, and capabilities.
• Troubleshoot customer issues via phone, email, and on-site support.
• Conduct product application testing and system setup, adjustment, and fine-tuning.
• Provide post-sales application training to customers.
• Prepare and update training manuals and technical documentation.
• Support sales teams with technical presentations and product demonstrations when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve department processes and operational efficiency.
• Perform other technical support duties and projects as assigned.

• Diploma in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with logic control and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as Serial, Modbus TCP, Ethernet, and EtherNet/IP.
• Familiar with HMI programming.
• Able to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
• Customer-oriented with good organisation, prioritisation, and interpersonal skills.
