About the Role

Our client is a well-established multinational manufacturing company seeking an Assistant Engineer to support engineering documentation, process administration, reporting, and coordination activities within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and maintain engineering documents, reports, records, and technical documentation.
• Support production planning activities and maintain production schedules within internal systems.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Laboratory, Maintenance, and Engineering teams on documentation and operational requirements.
• Track inventory records, material consumption, and monthly stock reconciliation activities.
• Support purchasing activities for engineering consumables, spare parts, and operational materials.
• Assist in data collection, report generation, and analysis for engineering and operational projects.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, project activities, and follow-up actions with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records within ERP and digital manufacturing systems.
• Support continuous improvement, quality, and operational projects as required.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience in engineering support, production coordination, technical documentation, manufacturing administration, or related functions will be advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
