Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in the Haematology laboratory according to established protocols and quality standards.

• Receive, process, and prepare patient specimens for laboratory analysis.

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analyzers.

• Conduct quality control procedures and ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.

• Validate and document laboratory findings in the laboratory information system.

• Assist in the investigation of abnormal results and equipment-related issues.

• Adhere to laboratory safety regulations, infection control measures, and accreditation requirements.

• Maintain proper inventory and stock levels of laboratory reagents and consumables.

• Collaborate with pathologists, medical laboratory scientists, and healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

• Participate in laboratory quality improvement initiatives, audits, and competency assessments.

• Ensure timely reporting of laboratory results to support clinical decision-making.

Requirement:

• Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.

• Previous relevant working experience is preferred.
