Job Summary

Assist in planning and executing external audits for diverse clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial statements while collaborating with audit teams to resolve issues and deliver clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute external audits for a diverse client portfolio to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Perform detailed financial reviews, analytical procedures, and substantive testing to verify financial statement integrity
• Document audit findings and prepare clear, concise reports for clients to support decision-making
• Collaborate with audit team members to identify and resolve discrepancies during audit procedures
• Prepare audit workpapers and relevant documentation to support audit conclusions
• Ensure audits comply with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Apply expertise in group consolidation of accounts to support audit processes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in external auditing, preferably within a public accounting firm at an Audit Senior level
• Fluency in English and Mandarin to effectively liaise with Chinese-speaking clients
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to critically assess financial data and identify key issues
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients and team members effectively
