Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Medical Aesthetic/ Skincare
  • Position Title: Beauty Training & Service Excellence Manager
  • Working Location: Islandwide (City Hall, Dhoby Ghaut, Paya Lebar)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 11am - 9pm, Saturday from 10am - 8pm and Sunday 10am - 7pm (Follow roster)
  • Salary Package: Basic + Commission + Sales Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of treatments (facials, slimming, and hair removal) to professional standards.
  • Recommend and introduce suitable treatment packages and products to support clients’ results.
  • Provide treatment services at different outlets when additional staffing support is needed.
  • Build long-term client relationships by delivering consistently high service standards.
  • Train beauticians on treatment procedures, equipment use, and consultation skills. Mentor beauticians to support skills development and assessments, and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Create and update SOPs, training manuals, and evaluation checklists to ensure consistent standards.
  • Review new beauty technologies, products, and treatment methods for possible use in the business.
  • Test and improve treatment techniques to help clients achieve good and consistent results.
  • Work with management to design service packages that match customer needs and market demand.
  • Support recruitment by screening candidates based on technical skills and service approach.
  • Support onboarding for new hires, including a structured training plan, initial certification, and alignment to service standards.
  • Support retention by building a coaching culture with regular feedback, clear standards, growth pathways, and recognition of skill development.
  • Monitor and review service quality across outlets to maintain consistent service standards.
  • Conduct internal checks and put improvements in place when needed.

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in beauty therapy, including facials, slimming, and hair removal.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a trainer, mentor, or coach in the beauty industry.
  • Proven experience delivering training in the beauty industry.
  • Recognised qualifications such as CIDESCO and/or CIBTAC
