Our client is a brokerage firm and they have a few openings for the Business Development Manager position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Relationship Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by building and maintaining strong B2B relationships with Financial Advisory firms (FAs), ultimately encouraging them to distribute our products to their end consumers. You will manage the end-to-end relationship lifecycle—from hunting and onboarding new FAs to retaining existing partners through high-touch engagement initiatives, including gala events and incentive trips.

As our primary stakeholder and partner network is entirely Chinese-speaking, proficiency in Chinese

is required to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients

Responsibilities

Relationship Management & Business Development

  • Partner Acquisition: Actively source, pitch to, and onboard new insurance agencies(FAs) to expand our distribution network.
  • Account Retention: Maintain and deepen relationships with existing FAs, ensuring high engagement and brand loyalty.
  • B2B2C Sales Driving: Educate and influence FAs to actively promote and sell our product suite to their end-retail clients.

Event & Campaign Management

  • High-Touch Engagement: Plan, coordinate, and execute exclusive partner events, including annual Gala Nights and Overseas Incentive Trips, to reward and motivate top-performing FAs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the internal Marketing and External Asset Management (EAM) teams to align promotional strategies and support materials.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Proven Track Record: Experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, or Relationship Management, ideally within the financial services, insurance, or wealth management sectors. Good network with Insurance, Financial Advisory firms will have an advantage
  • Strong Networker: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to build trust and influence B2B partners (FAs).
  • Event Execution: Prior exposure to or a strong aptitude for organizing corporate events, hospitality setups, or client appreciation trips.
