Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Construction of Buildings
• Position Title: CAD & BIM Designer
• Working Location: Ubi Avenue
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri: 8.30am – 6pm, Sat: 8.30am – 1pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + AWS + VB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings and BIM/Revit models.
• Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, installation details and as-built drawings.
• Prepare drawings for electrical, lightning protection, earthing and related systems.
• Convert design and consultant drawings into detailed construction drawings.
• Maintain BIM models, drawing revisions and document records.
• Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural and M&E disciplines.
• Identify clashes and support BIM coordination.
• Attend coordination meetings and update drawings based on approved changes.
• Prepare technical drawings, layouts and drawing submissions.
• Ensure drawings meet project requirements and relevant standards.
• Support site surveys, measurements and drawing updates.
• Assist site teams with drawing-related issues.
• Prepare final as-built drawings and BIM models.

• Diploma, Higher Nitec or Degree in Engineering, BIM, Drafting, Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of CAD/BIM experience in construction or M&E.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
• Knowledge of Navisworks and BIM clash detection is an advantage.
• Able to read architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
• Experience with construction, shop and as-built drawings.
• Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple drawing submissions and deadlines.
