Mandarinstars Learning Centre provides Chinese enrichment programmes for K2 to P6 students who have difficulties learning Chinese using the traditional learning methods. Our curriculum breaks down learning into smaller manageable parts, so students are able to learn to read, write and understand Chinese language. We keep our class size small up to 6 students so teachers can dedicate their time to teach.

Job Scope

• Conduct lessons based on lesson plans and curriculum. Detailed lesson plans will be provided.
• Cover lessons for colleagues when they are sick or on leave.
• Provide updates to parents about student progress and to upload lesson summary to parents onto the portal after each lesson.
• Mark students’ work.
• Prepare student progress reports twice a year.
• Assist with preparing teaching materials in the morning (when there are no lessons).

Qualifications

• Degree holder with at least 2 years of experience teaching Chinese language at MOE schools or Chinese enrichment center.
• Only applicable to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
• Excellent spoken and written skills in Chinese language.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player
• Competence in PC skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).
• Candidates with previous experience working with children with ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism will be desirable.
