Cloud Engineer (1-Year Renewable Contract)

Our client is a leading Corporate and Investment Banking organisation with a well-established Information Systems and Technology Centre in Singapore

Three Key Technical Skills

1. Cloud Platform Engineering

• Hands-on administration and support of AWS and/or GCP production environments
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Cloud platform automation, security, governance, and operational support
• Experience supporting highly available enterprise cloud services

2. Kubernetes & DevOps Platform Engineering

• Production support and administration of Docker and Kubernetes clusters
• CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, Git, and Ansible
• Container orchestration, deployment automation, and platform reliability engineering
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of containerized workloads

3. Middleware & Production Engineering

• Hands-on support of enterprise middleware platforms including Kafka, WebSphere, JBoss, WildFly, Tomcat, or Apache
• Root cause analysis, performance tuning, incident management, and problem management
• Experience supporting mission-critical production environments with strict availability requirements
• Working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes

Technical Requirements

• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud, container, middleware, or platform engineering environments.
• Practical experience with AWS, GCP, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience in production troubleshooting and performance analysis.
• Strong scripting capabilities using Python, Bash, Unix Shell, PowerShell, or Java.
• Experience working within DevOps and Continuous Delivery environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and service management platforms.
• Knowledge of modern AI architecture concepts including LLM, RAG, Agentic AI, and MCP would be advantageous.
