Responsibilities

• Operate 3-axis CNC milling and turn-mill machines to produce precision components from engineering drawings
• Set up workpieces and make sure all finished parts meet the tolerances in the drawings
• Write CNC programs using MasterCAM and manual G-code, working efficiently and accurately
• Machine complex profiles and high-tolerance components
• Design jigs and fixtures for machine setups and quality inspections
• Support production schedules and meet delivery commitments on time
• Keep the workplace to 5S standards and follow all safety regulations

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Precision Engineering / Manufacturing environment
• Proficient in operating 3-axis CNC milling and turn-mill machines
• Able to program in MasterCAM and write or edit G-code and M-code manually
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T and tolerance specifications
• Experience machining complex parts to tight tolerances
• Familiar with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micro-meters, height gauges and bore gauges
• Able to design simple jigs and fixtures; knowledge of CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is an advantage
• Good knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds and a range of materials (e.g. aluminium, stainless steel, tool steel)
• Familiar with 5S practices and workplace safety standards
• Detail-oriented, able to work in a team
