Job Description & Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and strategically minded individual with a sharp flair for fashion and product design to join our Design and Merchandising team.

You will be crucial in driving the end-to-end development of Our Second Nature’s (OSN) womenswear, menswear, kidswear, and home & living categories, as well as Atlas Kind’s (AK) womenswear, menswear, and accessories collections. You will balance hands-on creative design with strategic merchandising and production management, ensuring our brand ethos is beautifully executed from concept to customer.

Responsibilities include:

a/Product & Development & Design

• Designing and developing OSN’s womenswear, menswear, kidswear, and Living / Core and Collectibles collections as well as AK’s womenswear, menswear and accessories collections
• Contributing to all stages of design: conducting research, presenting ideas, preparing technical packs, liaising with factories, reviewing samples, making adjustments to samples until they are production-ready, and ensuring final products are made to design specification
• Conceptualising and innovating original and designs aligned with brand aesthetics and consumer demand
• Preparing technical drawings, design packs, and specifications using, free-hand drawing skills, Adobe Suite, Procreate and Microsoft Excel to support suppliers through the sampling and production process
• Analysing product requirements and develop clear workflows to ensure that final production outcomes meet design intent and quality standards
• Overseeing sample developments by conducting fit sessions, including; communicating feedback and proposing adjustments to both the team and suppliers and ensuring timely adjustments throughout the production cycle
• Conducting trend research and market analysis to forecast, develop and adapt designs according to evolving customer preferences
• Ensuring all design documentation, technical packs, price list are accurate, up-to-date and well-organised

b/Product Strategy and Merchandising

• Building and managing the product pipeline for OSN Living / Core and Collectibles homeware lines from conceptualisation to market launch
• Collaborating closely with both Design and Marketing teams to develop cohesive product and go-to-market strategies
• Analysing consumer needs, current homeware and living market trends, and develop potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs buy perspective
• Analysing consumer insights, market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product differentiation and differentiation
• Developing and maintaining production timelines across departments, ensuring deliverables are met in a timely manner and within budget
• Driving innovative business opportunities for OSN Living / Core and Collectibles homeware line through strategic partnerships and creative collaborations

c/Supplier and Production Management

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with reliable suppliers, manufacturers, and artisans to ensure smooth collaboration and consistent production quality
• Sourcing materials and managing all supplier communications from end to end sampling and production
• Anticipating sampling or production issues, proposing practical, scalable, sustainable and cost-efficient solutions
• Conducting strict quality control checks to ensure consistency and high quality standards across all final products

d/Creative Support and Ad Hoc Projects

• Assisting with illustrations, packaging and graphic design as required
• Overseeing design and production for OSN Living / Core and Collectibles merchandise and any event-related products (pop-ups or store activations)
• Participating in material sourcing trips, trade shows, and factory visits when necessary
• Reporting to Managers, Directors and assisting with any other matters required

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a local or international fashion company
• Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Management, or a related field.
• A creative flair and deep appreciation for the aesthetics and design ethos of OSN and AK
• Proven experience in developing product and fashion collections from concept to production
• Strong understanding in garment construction, pattern-making, pattern-cutting and sewing and textile print development
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Procreate, and Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint).
• Working proficiency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written, required to liaise with overseas manufacturer.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational, time management, communication and problem solving skills 
• A self-starter who demonstrates initiative, accountability and ownership
• Creative, resourceful with the ability to think strategically and practically
• A collaborative team player with a positive and professional attitude 
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think out of the box and come up with solutions that are practical, scalable, sustainable, and cost-efficient (e.g., production snags such as fabric shortages and shipping delays)
