Our client is a multinational company in the Contract Manufacturing industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their Engineer team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the North – easily accessible.

The Engineering Manager's responsibles are:

• Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering team supporting molding, assembly, box build, and product lifecycle activities.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and capability development within the engineering team.
• Establish and maintain effective manufacturing engineering systems, including engineering change control (ECN), process documentation, validation protocols, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership in resolving production issues through structured root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OEE, yield, cycle time, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Manage end-to-end engineering change implementation, ensuring proper evaluation, risk assessment, cross-functional coordination, and smooth execution.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support new product introduction, process improvements, and operational readiness.
• Act as a key technical point of contact for customer discussions related to product changes, engineering clarifications, and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer/regulatory requirements, including documentation control, audit readiness, and engineering records.
• Support strategic initiatives such as capacity planning, process optimization, tooling management, and automation or technology upgrades.

Requirement

• Minimum 5 years of engineering manager experience in Molding industry
• Degree in Engineering field
• Knowledge in ISO13485
