Job description

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee EPI and Thermal Processes (Poly, RTA, LTO) to ensure process stability and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot process issues and defects to meet wafer quality, production, and cost targets.
• Lead EPI and Thermal Process Teams and plan resources to achieve operational objectives.
• Manage staff-related administrative matters and approve or revise documents according to internal regulations.
• Collaborate with global technology teams on process alignment and qualification of new processes, suppliers, and consumables.
• Apply problem-solving tools (8D, Fishbone, DOE) and risk assessment methods (FMEA).
• Ensure manufacturing, training, SPC, and FMEA documentation is properly maintained.
• Support production safety and environmental objectives, including updating Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Prepare and submit monthly activity reports to management.
• Report directly to the Head of Department / Director / VP of Technology.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Materials Science, Microelectronics, Chemistry, or Physics; Master’s or PhD is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in EPI and/or Thermal Processes.
• Strong team leadership, people management, and staff development skills.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, data analysis, DOE, and SPC.
• Proficiency in JMP, Visual Basic, databases, and queries is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, independent, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Systematic problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
