Event Manager

We're looking for a proactive and results-driven Event Manager to take the lead on a range of MICE projects. In this role, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our team of event professionals to bring exceptional experiences to life, overseeing every aspect from strategic development and meticulous planning to flawless production and deliver. Your focus will be on ensuring the smooth execution of all events.

What You’ll be Doing

• Participate in external and internal project management activities and work-in-progress meetings.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing the day-to-day needs for hybrid, live, and virtual events.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with clients, venues, and suppliers.
• Co-ordinate all aspects of the event management process, from ideation to execution.
• Develop comprehensive event proposals, including timelines, budgets, venue and supplier details, and staffing plans.
• Ensure timely dissemination of all project documentation to relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct pre and post-event evaluations, reporting on outcomes and taking initiative with implementing improvements.
• Manage onsite production crews, suppliers, and temporary staff effectively.
• Co-ordinate with and manage venues and suppliers.
• Ensure client needs and expectations are not just met, but exceeded.
• Provide effective support and mentorship to junior team members.
• Perform other related duties as required to meet business needs.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing a variety of events, including hybrid, live, and virtual formats.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and client relations skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and deliverables with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
