Job Scope:

Events & Programme Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute physical, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Manage event logistics including venue coordination, registration, vendors, speakers, and event materials.
  • Support event budgeting, procurement, and post-event reporting.
  • Ensure smooth event operations and participant experience.

Community & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with council members, partners, sponsors, and community stakeholders.
  • Support the development and implementation of engagement initiatives and programmes.
  • Coordinate meetings, working groups, and stakeholder communications.

Communications & Digital Platforms

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with members and community partners.
  • Manage and update the website and digital channels.
  • Create and schedule content for social media platforms.
  • Draft event promotions, newsletters, announcements, and member communications.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and recommend improvements to outreach efforts.

Secretariate & Administrative Support

  • Provide secretariat support for meetings.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, papers, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain records, databases, and administrative documentation.
  • Support general office administration and operational activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Communications, Events Management, Marketing, or related fields
  • Experience in event management
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with digital communications
