About the Role

We are looking for a people-oriented and proactive HR Executive Officer / Senior Executive Officer to join our Human Resources team.

This is a broad-based HR generalist role covering recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, payroll coordination, training, employee engagement and HR projects. The role is suited to someone who is hands-on and is keen to contribute to initiatives that enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

• Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including preparing and posting job advertisements, screening applications, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks where required, and managing candidate communications.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including preparation of onboarding materials and employment documentation, and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth employee experience.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation, ensuring proper record-keeping and confidentiality.
• Support the administration and implementation of HR policies, procedures and processes.

Payroll, Leave & HR Administration

• Maintain and validate employee data and changes required for monthly payroll processing.
• Support the administration of leave, employee benefits and other HR-related matters.
• Assist with HR reporting, data collation and preparation of HR-related reports and analysis.

Learning, Engagement & Employee Experience

• Coordinate training administration, including course arrangements, registrations, attendance records, evaluations and related documentation.
• Support employee engagement, wellness, team-building and staff activities, including planning, logistics and post-event evaluation.
• Assist in implementing initiatives that promote employee engagement, wellbeing and a positive workplace culture.

HR Projects & Process Improvement

• Support and, where appropriate, take ownership of HR projects and initiatives, including the rollout of practical interventions and creative people-related initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience and administrative efficiency, and assist in implementing appropriate improvements.
• Support the Head of Department on other HR projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
• EO: 1–2 years of relevant HR experience; relevant internship or entry-level HR experience may be considered.
• SEO: 2–4 years of relevant HR generalist or HR operations experience.
• Experience across recruitment, HR administration, payroll, or employee engagement will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of HR processes, with strong organisational, administrative and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint; HRIS experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in using AI tools to enhance productivity, HR processes, research and analysis, with due regard for confidentiality and data protection.
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Good time management, problem-solving and project coordination skills.
