Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and service-oriented Food Retail Sales Associate to support daily operations in the food department of a retail store.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product enquiries and provide friendly customer service.

• Replenish shelves, arrange products and maintain neat product displays.

• Check product labels, pricing and stock availability.

• Assist with stock handling, receiving and replenishment, including lifting loads of up to 15kg.

• Support daily food department operations and maintain cleanliness and organisation.

• Handle products, including alcoholic beverages, in accordance with store procedures and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Previous retail, supermarket, grocery or customer service experience is an advantage.

• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.

• Physically fit to handle and lift items weighing up to 15kg.

• Responsible, customer-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Able to commit to the full 3-month contract.

• Must meet applicable legal requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Working Hours

• 5 days per week, 44 hours per week.

• Rotating shifts:

  • Morning: 7:30am–4:30pm

  • Afternoon: 2:00pm–10:30pm

  • Full shift: 12 hours, according to roster
