Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage air and sea freight shipments for both import and export cargo.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including Air Waybills (AWB), Bills of Lading (BL), permits, and other import/export documentation.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and provide updates to customers when required.
• Liaise with customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform cargo inspections and coordinate warehouse activities when necessary.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and perform data entry into logistics systems.
• Assist with permit declarations and ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
• Handle shipment enquiries, resolve operational issues, and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or related industry.
• Knowledge of air and sea freight operations and shipping documentation.
• Experience with customs permit declarations will be an advantage.
