Gym & Studio Customer Service Officer

Homeground Gym & Pilates — Clementi (Bishan expansion planned for end-2026)

Hi! We’re Homeground Gym & Pilates, a growing boutique gym & Pilates business based in Clementi, Singapore.

We’re looking for someone warm, responsible, proactive, and hungry to grow together with the business.

This is a customer-facing operations role involving:

  • Front desk & customer service
  • Gym & Pilates studio operations
  • Member support
  • WhatsApp/customer communication
  • General day-to-day coordination within the business

The role will primarily support our Clementi branch for now, with opportunities to support our future Bishan branch nearer to end-2026 as the business grows.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being around people and wants to help create a welcoming environment for members across both the gym and Pilates sides of the business.

Some examples of day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming and assisting members
  • Managing bookings, enquiries, and front desk operations
  • Handling WhatsApp/customer communication
  • Supporting gym and Pilates day-to-day operations
  • Ensuring the environment is clean, comfortable, and ready for members/classes
  • Helping create a positive experience for members
  • Supporting the team with general operational coordination
  • Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the gym/studio owner

You’ll be a good fit if you:

  • enjoy fitness/wellness
  • are friendly and comfortable talking to people
  • can communicate and engage customers confidently
  • can take initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do
  • are responsible and accountable
  • genuinely care about creating a good experience for others
  • work well in a small team environment

This role is probably NOT suitable for candidates who:

  • are very shy interacting with customers
  • dislike communication-heavy environments
  • lack responsibility or accountability
  • prefer to be constantly micromanaged
  • are not motivated to grow or improve

Customer service, hospitality, fitness industry, or front desk experience is a bonus, but attitude matters a lot to us.

Salary:
SGD $2,500 – $3,200 depending on experience, role responsibilities, and level of contribution within the business. There may be opportunities for higher earning potential over time as you take on greater responsibilities and grow together with the company.

Working Arrangement:
Full-time role. Generally 5.5 working days per week. Most shifts will be in the early afternoon to evening, including some weekends and public holidays depending on class/studio schedule.
