I am currently partnering a leading and highly respected Asian asset management platform on a strategic senior leadership hire within their Institutional Client Solutions business.

We are seeking an experienced institutional sales leader to drive regional institutional business growth across Singapore, Southeast Asia, North Asia and broader offshore markets.

This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the Head of Client Solutions, with responsibility for leading institutional business development efforts, deepening consultant relationships and shaping long-term regional growth strategy.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Institutional client coverage across APAC
  • Pension funds, sovereign wealth, insurers, consultants and large allocators
  • Strategic sales leadership and pipeline management
  • RFP / consultant database oversight
  • Cross-border institutional fundraising initiatives
  • Collaboration with investment, product and senior management teams

The ideal profile would likely bring:

  • 15+ years of institutional asset management distribution experience
  • Strong regional allocator and consultant relationships
  • Deep understanding across multiple asset classes
  • Experience building institutional businesses across Asia
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial instincts
  • Strong credibility with senior institutional stakeholders

Particularly relevant backgrounds may include institutional sales leadership experience across global or regional asset managers covering Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and broader APAC markets.
