Responsibilities

1. Treasury 

1.1 Prepare a rolling 3 months Cashflow projection to Group Finance on a monthly basis.

1.2 Prepare monthly cash forecast variance 

1.3 Prepare annual budget and projected cashflow statement

1.4 Plan for withdrawal and placement of STP and LTP for optimum cash management. 

1.5 Manage Treasury for optimum cash management 

1.6 Prepare annual Forecast and Budget for Finance income

1.7 Review bank recon 

2. Accounts Payable – 3rd party and Interco 

2.1 Handle Epay related queries from users and provide guidance on the procedures and workflow to avoid delay in getting the payment processed

2.2 Resolve payment issues 

2.3 Review AP Ageing reports and reconciliation

3. Fixed Assets

3.1 Manage the Fixed Assets which includes annual verification exercise, sighting of disposal from other Departments and creation of IO code

3.2 Review FA schedules 

4. Financial reporting 

4.1 Assist senior accountant in reviewing operating expenditure entries (i.e. manpower, IT, other operating expenses, etc) during month end close

4.2 Liaise with finance shared services to ensure accuracy of entries and to adhere to month end closing timelines

4.3 Prepare monthly OPEX for all cost centers and handle queries relating to the expenses nature and variance (Actual vs Budget)

4.4 Prepare and submit monthly management report to Cluster

4.5 Preparation of monthly variance analysis and reporting deck for manager’s review

4.6 Effect and ensure that the Cost centres’ approvers are updated in ePay, eSundry, SAP Purchase Requisition and lease portals.

5. General

5.1 Coordinating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. Shared Service

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of SAP accounting software is an advantage.

• Adequate knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
