• Position: Insurance Broking Executive - General Insurance

• Location: Raffles Quay

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:45am - 6pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,500 Monthly Basic Salary + AWS (1 Month) + Performance Bonus + 16 Days Annual Leave + Flexi Benefits

• Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide insurance broking support and arrange suitable insurance placements for clients.

• Liaise with clients to understand their insurance requirements and advise on suitable coverage options.

• Obtain relevant underwriting information from clients and submit it to insurers or underwriters for quotations and coverage terms.

• Review quoted premiums, coverage terms and policy conditions and advise clients accordingly.

• Monitor clients’ statements of account and follow up on outstanding premium payments where required.

• Monitor upcoming policy renewals and follow up with clients and insurers to ensure timely renewal of expiring policies.

• Perform other related insurance broking and client-servicing duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Maritime Studies or a related discipline.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and general office applications.

• Structured on-the-job training will be provided, and candidates without prior insurance broking experience may be considered.

• Candidates who do not currently possess the Commercial General Insurance (CGI) certification will be required to obtain it, with the course and examination fees fully sponsored by the company.
