Job Description:

• Provide metrices to the Management for inventory cycle count accuracy, inventory

stock out, sample discrepancy, sample collection adherence, etc; and work with the

testing team to identify improvement opportunities to facilitate quick turnaround of

testing results.

• Maintain and monitor accurate forecast of expenditure in the lab and ensure healthy

contribution margin in Technical team

• Set-up and implementation of laboratory inventory management system with inputs

from voice of customers for just-in-time usage with FIFO methodology.

• Manage and oversee operation for sample management and ensure proper

resolution with Clients for discrepancy

• Support service contractual discussion/negotiation with vendor and suppliers

• Ensures billable for laboratory services are performed on time and ensure accuracy.

• Performs all laboratory functions as tasked with high degree of accuracy, timeliness

and strict adherence to Company’s quality requirements.

• Maintains proper records and documentation of activities in compliance with Good

Documentation Practices and Data Integrity requirements, for all testing and testrelated activities (e.g. raw data sheets, usage log books, test reports and all other

records)

• Generates and revises Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relating to area of

responsibility during routine document review or when there is a regulatory update.

• Execute improvement initiatives to support lean operation of Technical team, which

include the implementation of relevant digitization projects, sample traceability, and

any other efforts to improve customer’s experience.

• Participates in investigations (e.g. root cause analysis, impact analysis, risk

assessment, corrective actions etc) and assists QA department in the event of any

investigation / excursions, internal / external audits in area of responsibility and

spearheads preventive action initiatives.

• Provides support during external and internal audits for the areas of responsibility

• Documents and reports to immediate supervisor and Management any event that

has occurred in the laboratory, which could potentially result in hazardous, near

misses, litigious or quality-compromising situation.

• Adheres to Company Policies and Procedures, including Code of Ethics and to

Health and Safety requirements.

• Maintains confidentiality of all Client information according to internal SOPs, Quality

Service Agreements, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain appropriate records and documentation of activities to facilitate continuous

compliance to ISO/IEC 17025, cGMP, PIC/S, Company local & global SOPs and

data integrity principles and requirements.

• Ensures relevant Health and Safety requirements are adhered to, including

undertaking any mandatory training as required.

• Undertakes any other duty or responsibility, at the request of your manager that may

be required within reason within the remit of your role.
