[What the role is]

[What you will be working on]

• Conduct lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and student consultations for modules in the Aerospace discipline, including but not limited to Aerodynamics, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), Aircraft Structures, Engineering Materials, Thermodynamics, Mathematics, and Advanced Manufacturing in MRO.
• Review, design, and develop curriculum materials, assessments, and teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
• Supervise students undertaking internships, major projects, and other experiential learning activities.
• Collaborate with local and overseas industry partners and educational institutions to develop and lead student and staff projects, learning journeys, and overseas programmes.
• Support and co-organise polytechnic-wide events, outreach activities, and institutional initiatives.
• Provide teaching and student support outside normal office hours when required.

[What we are looking for]

• Qualifications in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in aerospace R&D and/or Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO).
• Passed, or willing to undertake and pass, the CAAS SAR-66 Modules 6 to 10 examinations to qualify as an instructor for relevant subjects in the Aerospace Engineering (AEG) curriculum.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about sharing knowledge and engaging with youths.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively across functions, integrating knowledge from multiple disciplines.
• Adaptable, versatile, and able to thrive in a dynamic, innovative, and fast-changing environment.
